About Nayeli
Our Philosophy
It’s in the name: “Love is the Foundation of Healing”
We offer an integrative healthcare approach in a collaboration between different health disciplines and modalities. Health promotion, prevention, treatments for acute and chronic illnesses are offered following individualized, thorough careful diagnosis. Best treatment options will be discussed with patients/clients, and referrals to other health practitioners will be recommended where appropriate.
Traditional and complementary medicines and therapies can go a long way in promoting wellness and healing dis-ease. They can go together with Western medicine and, in some cases, can work exceptionally well on their own.
We strive to contribute to the betterment of health and wellness in the community. As such, we focus on accessibility of service provision and education of patients/clients and community (via in-person and virtual presentations, on-line blogging, and scientific publication). We work to partner with government, health and social organizations to improve our reach to those who can benefit from our services.
We focus on wholistic health – mind, body, and spirit with a focus on finding the root cause of health problems.
We provide a family-centred approach to healthcare, providing services across the lifespan:
-
Individual and family centred care
-
Couples
-
Reproductive health (men and women)
-
Fertility, family planning
-
Pregnancy and childbirth
-
Pediatric (children and adolescents)
At Nayeli, integrative healthcare emphasizes the importance of open communication, empathy, and a focus on individual needs and goals. We foster partnership between patients/clients and health practitioners, based on active involvement in treatment planning. Our clinic is above all, a safe and welcoming place for all people, it is a place you can come to focus on your health, wellness, and feel-good needs.
What to Expect
At Nayeli, patients/clients can expect a thoughtful and holistic approach to healthcare that combines Western and traditional/complementary therapies. This involves assessment, including medical history, lifestyle evaluation; for TCM acupuncture a physical examination, e.g., palpitation, tongue analysis, pulse reading. Practitioners will then work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan reflective of your needs and goals.
Each session with any of our health practitioners will focus on your comfort and easeful delivery of treatments, at your pace, with a goal to improve your condition as quickly and effectively as possible.
Though safety is our number one priority, risks all always present, for example, bruising after needling or a worsening of a condition prior to its improvement as when sharing a sensitive topic with a counsellor.
Patients can expect to leave their appointments feeling relaxed and with an improved health condition.
Telehealth options are available for clinical counsellor appointments and Traditional Chinese Medicine Consults.
Treatments typically take about an hour.
